I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes! For elementary and middle school, I attended École Kenwood, a Columbus Public French immersion school, which enabled me to become fluent in the language. I then attended Bishop Watterson High School, a private, parochial high school and graduated with Honors in 2010. Having grown up less than a five-minute drive away from The Ohio State University, I have been a Buckeye my entire life and always knew I wanted to go to college there. My love of science, particularly medicine, and my knack for problem-solving led me to choose Biological Engineering as my major. Nothing means more to me than my family and my friends; the pictures below show myself with my mother, father, and older brother Austin (middle) and my best friend Margaret (right).
